HORSEMAN SW612 Professional

The SW612 Professional provides 2-way shift movements, but does'nt have a tilt/swing facility - why? This is because the variable depth of field control of tilt is not crucial in ultra-wide-angle photography, since the depth of field is so generous with such wide-angle lenses. In addition, having a tilt/swing possibility in ultra-wide-angle photography imposes a danger of losing the established perfect right angle of the optical axis and film plane, which is very important for convenient wide-angle photography.

 |  Precision-machined Camera Body
The biggest and most surprising innovation in the Horseman SW612 Professional is its ultra-slim camera body. Precision-machined from a solid block of aluminum, the three parts of this body move against each other on finely polished steel roller bearings; sets of roller bearings are mounted at right angles, ensuring ultra-smooth movement in either direction and even under a twisting load. Striking proof for what the word "professional quality" should and can mean, the Horseman SW612 Professional body is pure joy to operate.
